Campbell River is located on the unceded, traditional territories of the LigwiÅ‚da'xw people; the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum, and Kwiakah First Nations. This land is also home to the Ayajuthem-speaking people of the Homalco, Klahoose and K’omoks First Nations.
